"2010 Win a Wing" Sweepstake Official Ruless
No Purchase Necessary To Enter or Win! Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. The "2010 Win a Wing" Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") will begin at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) on March 20, 2009 ("Sweepstakes Start Date"), and end at 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2010 ("Sweepstakes Period"). Sweepstakes is sponsored by Chrome World Incorporated, 16 Dixon Street, Selbyville, DE 19975 (the "Sponsor") who is solely responsible for all aspects of this sweepstakes.
Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States and D.C, 18 years of age or older as of 3/20/09 who possesses a valid, government issued, motorcycle license (that authorizes operation of a motorcycle on the public roadways within the United States of America). Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, their affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, (collectively including Sponsor, "Sweepstakes Entities") their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouses) and persons living in the same household (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
Three Ways to Enter:
- Place a merchandise order from Chrome World on http://www.chromeworld.com and you are automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. If an order is placed for a company, the person placing the order shall be the individual entered in the Sweepstakes. Each order placed during the Sweepstake period will receive an additional Sweepstakes entry. All orders must be received by 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2010.
- Place a merchandise order from the Chrome World catalog and you will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. If an order is placed for a company, the person placing the order shall be the individual entered in the Sweepstakes. Each order placed during the Sweepstake period will receive an additional Sweepstakes entry. All orders must be received by 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2010.
- Enter by hand printing on a 3"x 5" card, your name, date of birth, address (including zip code), day & evening phone numbers, and e-mail address. Verify that you have a valid government issued motorcycle license by writing the following statement on the 3" x 5" card: Yes, I possess a valid government issued motorcycle license. Mail the card to: "2010 Win a Wing" Sweepstakes, 90 Rockwood Place. Rochester, NY 14610. All entries must be postmarked by December 31, 2010, and received by January 7, 2011, and become the property of the Sponsor. Only one "3 x 5" card sweepstake entry per person per month is permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person or e-mail address that submits more than maximum allowed entries. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a 2009 or 2010 Honda Gold Wing GL1800 motorcycle. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the motorcycle is $20,000.
By accepting the aforementioned prize, the prize winner agree to release the Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by entering the Sweepstakes or for damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use or misuse or failure to use any prize awarded, or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to and from any prize-related activity. Sponsor has not made any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize and specifically disclaims all such warranties, including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The prize is awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND other than from the manufacturer. All local, state and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. The Prize is not exchangeable, transferable (exception: Grand Prize is transferable to a surviving spouse residing in the same household), or redeemable for cash. There are no substitutions unless specified by the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute any prize package with another prize of equal or greater value. All decisions by Sponsor as to prize winner and prize are final.
Drawing and Notification: The potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected, from among all eligible entries received, in a random drawing conducted on or about January 15, 2011 by American Sweepstakes & Promotion Co. ("the Administrator") an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by phone and mail. Upon initial notification and verification of potential Grand Prize winner, confirmation will be sent to winner in writing via USPS mail, or other home delivery service of Sponsor's choice.
Prize Conditions: Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt of any prize. The Grand Prize winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, and return it within 14 days of written notification. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. The Grand Prize motorcycle will be delivered to: Powersports East, 620 Pulaski Highway, Bear, DE 19701. The Grand Prize winner will assume ownership upon transfer at Powersports East. Any cost of transportation is the responsibility of the Grand Prize winner. All taxes, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner's entry and acceptance of the prize offered constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for the Sponsor to use said winner's name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state), in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation.
Terms & Conditions: This sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sweepstakes Administrator, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the sweepstakes or these Official Rules. Entrants also agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, vendors associated with the sweepstakes, and the respective officers and employees of these entries, from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in any part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize offered, or participation in this sweepstakes. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the sweepstakes mechanics and/or implementation will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
