Fairing Light Kits:

The Honda Goldwing fairing light kit illuminates the tworange reflectors on the side of the fairing. Fairing light kits are easy tinstall and take about 20 t30 minutes for the first time installer. Remove the fairing pockets on both sides and locate the plug wrapped in blue tape. This is the plug for your fairing light harness. Loosen and remove the fairing side cover by removing the bolt located by your shin behind the little plastic piece (be careful not tbreak the little plastic piece). While sitting on the bike, remove the three screws behind the black plastic pieces on either side of the fairing light, and carefully remove the fairing reflector. Remove the rubber plug from the reflector, insert the light, and feed the harness up the inside and plug in. Reassemble the side of the fairing.

Trunk Light Kits:

The Honda Goldwing trunk light kit illuminates the three lights on each side of the trunk. Trunk lights just plug intthe reflector that is on your bike. Plan on 30 minutes of installation time for the first-time installer. Drop the pan under the trunk (four Phillips screws). Remove the twnuts inside the trunk, holding the reflectors in place (hold the reflector), remove the reflector, remove the rubber hold caps, press lights intplace, replace reflectors. Find the plugs, usually wrapped in blue tape, and plug light harness in. Turn on key and check lights. Replace bottom pan of trunk.

Saddlebag Light Kits:

The Honda Goldwing saddlebag light kit replaces the red reflectors on your saddlebag with reflectors that have four lights. This installation requires wiring that is color coded. Match up the right color and clip together with electrical clips provided. Twsmall holes need tbe drilled for the wire. Full instructions come with each set. Allow about one-half hour for first-time installation.

Rear Reflector Light Kits:

This Honda Goldwing light found under the license plate between the twrear lights in the saddlebag. With this light and the saddlebag lights, there is a continuous light all around the saddlebags. Installation: Remove the twscrews that secure the reflector (located behind the reflector in the wheel well). Push the twmetal tabs on the left rear corner of the saddlebag tthe side and remove the twPhillips screws. Install the new light and run the cord through the hole in the rear or side of the opening, replace screws in wheel well, unplug the electrical connection behind the corner piece attached tthe top. Unplug the connection and plug light intboth ends.

Brake Light Flashers:

The Honda Goldwing brake light flasher module is installed in-line anywhere between the brake light switch and the brake lights. Some of our customers dthis under the seat at the main wire harness. We prefer tdit under the trunk. Locate the brake light wires where they enter the brake lights on the trunk. Cut the wires approximately twinches from the brake lights. Use the supply side wire tthe left brake light tsupply power tthe red wire on the flasher unit. Connect tw16-inch lengths of wire tthe striped wire leaving the flasher unit. Connect one of these wires teach of the trunk's brake lights where you made your original cut. Properly secure the right side supply side wire as it will nlonger be used. The Brake Light Flasher Module gives three short flashes and then stays on steady each time the hand or foot break is depressed. This module is legal in all 50 states as opposed tthe Wig Wag style, which is not legal in all states.

Backrests:

The Honda Goldwing WIng Master for the GL1800, Kuryakyn, Show Chrome, Show Chrome for the GL1500 Backrest, The Wing Master although scary at first because you must cut a 1-inchhole in the seat, is very easy tinstall. Those of us with very limited mechanical ability will have an easy time with any of the backrests. Please advise year and color of bike for a perfect match. Many customers like Utopia because there are nbars on the side for the passengers legs ttouch. We recommend sitting on a friend's bike first tsee which backrest you and your passenger prefer. Instructions are provided with this item.

Armrests:

Honda Goldwing Kuryakyn or Show Chrome armrests are Great. . If you would like tsave a few dollars, gwith the Show Chrome. Both will last as long as the bike! Armrests are not as easy tinstall as backrests because armrests mount under the antenna on both sides. You must take out the passenger storage bins by removing the screws on the trunk, then removing the twbolts holding the antennas. Pull the antennas out a little and place the brackets in place. Reattach the antennas. Be sure torder the antenna bracket if you dnot have a CB antenna or the armrests will not attach.

Wind Wings:

Honda Goldwing Rated N. 1 by Motorcycle Consumer News™, the Baker Built Wind Wings take the market and cost the most. Most order the basic wing and upper section together and that is what we stock. These are alsavailable for the Valkyrie. The New Show Chrome wings for 1998 are alsvery popular and are about half the price of the Baker Built. Markland wind wings are the smallest and priced in the middle of the market. All of the wind wings that Chrome World sells require no drilling and all bolt intplace with hardware provided in existing bolt holes.

Chrome Items:

All of the Chrome Honda Goldwing that Chrome World sells is distributed by all of the major manufacturers. All of the pieces are top quality and should last a lifetime with proper care. Wax and keep clean with no abrasives. Pieces that require adhesive attachment need surface preparation. Clean the area first with alcohol or a good cleaner. Remove all wax, polishes and petroleum based spray waxes. Align chrome piece in the right place -- minor bending for a perfect fit may be necessary. Press down and hold. For permanent attachment, use small threaded screws/bolts and follow with the small snap caps (always be careful when drilling).
